Scope

The Galaxy is a joint public/private redevelopment effort. Two low-rise apartment buildings are proposed on either side of a central plaza area. The larger building has a retail component as well as a public/private garage on the street level. The consistent use of ‘Galaxy’ theme elements such as light and orbital geometry, provide cohesion, and create unique outdoor spaces. Feature amenities include diode light fixtures, sculptural art benches, a children’s playground, mosaic art wall, and open lawn. Design scope includes conceptual design through construction administration.
