Scope

Located just west of Richmond’s Museum and Fan districts and minutes from Carytown and downtown, Malvern Manor features a new 5,721 square foot clubhouse and swimming pool area with garden terrace. New internal private sidewalks have been designed to increase pedestrian connectivity within the site. Planting enhancements include the preservation of existing trees and the design of enhanced foundation plantings. Pocket parks with new landscape and hardscape areas are located throughout the site. Main goals of the plan included improving the functionality of the site, and providing pedestrian scale areas through the use of plantings, hardscape and the provision of site furnishings including street lighting, bollard lights, bicycle storage racks and benches.
