10 Exciting Facts about the Revamped Petworth Safeway

Reopening on June 27th, the Petworth Safeway at Georgia Avenue and Randolph Street is on the tail end of a renovation transformation.  Attaining LEED Silver certification with sustainable features such as an underground cistern and green roof, the Petworth Safeway has come a long way from what it once was. STUDIO39 was involved in designing the adjacent streetscape, cafe plaza, interior courtyard, and roof deck.
