David W. Judd, PLA joined STUDIO39 in 2004 and has experience in a diverse range of project types. As Studio Manager and Senior Landscape Architect at STUDIO39, David is responsible for all aspects of project development from schematic design to design implementation. Prior to joining STUDIO39, he worked in Atlanta where he led design teams on large scale office park master plans, multi-family apartment developments, municipal recreation projects and several church and school renovation projects. David also previously worked in Tokyo, Japan designing national park projects and large scale commercial developments.

David grew up with a love of things growing while watching his grandparents tend to their garden. His interests grew during high school while installing and maintaining landscapes. Clients appreciate his attention to detail as well as his development of effective, workable solutions. David enjoys figuring out how spaces interact, both aesthetically and constructability-wise, and how relationships of different components can be combined to create successful solutions.
