Marymount Ballston Center Campus

Scope
As a redevelopment of the existing “Blue Goose” site, Marymount University’s new satellite campus in Ballston consists of an office building and a residential building. Both include retail at street level, with the lower floors of the office building dedicated to graduate level academics. With the goal of creating a unified urban campus that still allowed for each building to stand on its own aesthetically, the site design integrating the streetscape design with retail seating, a corner plaza, an large interior plaza, a cycletrack along Fairfax Drive, and a shuttle stop for students. Also included is a residential rooftop amenity space. In 2019 it was announced that the residential building will be converted to student housing.
